I wanted to remind everyone that the Fall is an absolutely gorgeous time of year to have a photo shoot, When it comes to this time a year, Photo shoots come and go sometimes because of a need to re-schedule for rain or storm. Well this IS Oregon and Im fine with that, Dont worry about calling me the day before our session because the weather looks like it may be horrible for our session and you have little ones to worry about. I COMPLETELY understand and am useto the large amount of reschedules that go on this time of year. I will work my darndest to watch the weather on the 10 day forecasts and contact you as the week goes.
I do not shoot in a studio by choice because I LOVE the natural light and making use out of our gorgeous surroundings. I will come to your home for those fun family portraits or to welcome that precious newborn baby, as well as a romantic and soft maternity session. When the weather is bad, I sometimes offer to go to a hotel downtown and use their lobby’s if possible or any other area I feel would be oh-so-fab! There are alot of hidden treasures in this city and I would love to share those with you in art. We may go to a place and your thinking “Oh my gosh, what have I gotten my self in to” or “what is she thinking?” well my goal is for you to trust me and allow me to do my thing and give you beautiful artful portraits that you will have on your walls for a lifetime.
I find I do my best work if I get to know you and those in the shoot a bit better and then express my ideas and run with it. As you can see from my website of this blog, I do not shoot alot of your more traditional angles or shall I say “straight and forward” shots. What ever I see through my Lense that strikes me, I shoot it and get as many possible shots as we can during our session.
I share this all with you today to just give you a little more incite about how I work, I also am working on new FAQ page to better guide everyone with the process and end results. Thank you sooo much for checking in on me and my work. I’m excited for ALOT of new and exciting changes for 2009, stay tuned…..
Cheers!
