Katlyn + Nic planned a beautiful day at the Salem Convention Center last summer but first we began at Katlyn’s family ranch which is amongst the most beautiful oak grove I had ever seen! Her grandfather’s home is still on the property which is where the groom and his groomsmen got ready and Katlyn and the girls got ready in her parents home also built on the property. The views were specatcular of the valley. Katlyn + Nic had so many personal details throughout their wedding and such wonderful friends of the family that provided beautiful floral as well as wine from their friends at Left Coast Cellars.
Katlyn’s Watters Too Gown was absolutely stunning! and she wanted to wear a cathedral length veil for those “Deyla veil shots” so of course we had to play with that as well. Nic was looking pretty dapper himself with his black tuxedo from The Black Tux and despite the hot summer temps that day, he really was a trooper. He couldn’t take his eyes off of Katlyn and I’m NOT kidding when I say that their love for each other truly radiates!
After taking some photos at her family home, we all ventured off to the Salem Convention Center. I have never photographed a wedding at the Salem Convention Center before and really loved the ceremony area with the concrete floors and the floor to ceiling windows surrounding, the light in there was insane and fit their large guest count well.
Nic + Katlyn are two of the kindest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing, and getting to know them over the last couple of years has been such an honor! I am so excited to share some of our favorites from their wedding day.
